Salary Range: $45,600 - $63,200 annually (includes fixed salary and variable), DOE

  • Monthly vehicle allowance based on assigned routes.

Position Overview

This role provides essential support to the sales team in achieving both company and supplier objectives. Responsibilities include covering sales routes during employee absences and ensuring consistent service quality for all accounts. The position may involve physical tasks and requires adherence to safety protocols and company policies.

Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Sales:
  • Enhance sales performance by effectively planning and executing daily, weekly, and monthly goals while developing a strong understanding of products and competitor offerings.
  • Deliver compelling presentations, address inquiries, resolve objections, and provide evidence of proposals.
  • Showcase products using samples or catalogs, highlighting key features and benefits. Prepare quotes and solicit orders with the aid of a current pricing guide.
  • Conduct sales and follow-up calls to clients and prospects, promoting our product lines.
  • Process orders, create displays, and coordinate on-site promotional activities.
Merchandising:
  • Apply in-store merchandising principles effectively in designated retail accounts.
  • Encourage retail partners to implement shelf management, cold box, and floor display strategies to optimize sales potential.
  • Utilize point-of-sale materials to enhance merchandising effectiveness.
Account Management:
  • Maintain knowledge of product offerings for each account, ensuring proper rotation, cleanliness, and stock levels.
  • Comply with the company's professional appearance standards, projecting a positive image of the organization and its products.
  • Execute job responsibilities safely, with consideration for personal and team safety.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred; one to two years of relevant experience or training, or a combination of education and experience.
  • Must be at least 21 years old.
  • Valid driver's license, good driving record, proof of auto insurance, and reliable transportation are required.
  • Experience in beverage sales and/or merchandising is preferred, along with knowledge of the local market and customer service skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Highly organized, capable of managing multiple priorities efficiently.
Physical Requirements:
  • Physical demands are representative of those required to perform essential job functions. Reasonable accommodations will be made for individuals with disabilities.
  • Use of pallet jacks and hand carts is necessary for loading and unloading products.
  • Regularly lift and/or move 10-25 pounds and occasionally push or pull up to 250 pounds (loaded hand cart or pallet).
  • Regularly required to stand, walk, lift products from floor to waist, shoulder to overhead, and use hands for various tasks; occasional sitting, climbing, or balancing may be required.
