Pactiv Evergreen is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team in Grant Park, IL. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our production equipment and facilities.
Key Responsibilities- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on production equipment, including electrical and mechanical systems.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment-related processing issues.
- Utilize computer-based inventory systems to locate spare parts and generate reports.
- Assist maintenance and production staff as needed, and may assist in the training of other employees.
- Perform quality work within reasonable time standards set forth by management.
- Utilize mandatory safety equipment and adhere to all safety rules and regulations.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree preferred.
- 2+ years of technician experience in the plastics industry, with a strong background in electrical and mechanical systems.
- Ability to use own tools safely and effectively.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical skills, including mechanical, electrical, and PLC programming.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
