We are seeking an experienced Critical Care Nurse to join our team at Piedmont Macon Medical Center. As a critical care nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced telemetry environment.

Job Summary

This is an 8-week holiday incentive assignment with options for 36 or 48 hours per week. The successful candidate must be available to work during the holiday period and schedule requires working 6 weekend shifts per contract.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care to adult and geriatric patients focusing on medical-surgical cases such as chest pain, CHF, hemodialysis, and post-cath.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes.
  • Participate in shift handovers and communicate effectively with colleagues to ensure seamless care transitions.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse in a telemetry setting.
  • A valid GA or compact license required.
  • Current certifications in ACLS, BLS, and NIH.
  • Ability to interpret dysrhythmias.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Candidates with supervisory references from two managers or above are highly preferred.

Piedmont Macon Medical Center offers a competitive salary of $2232.0 per week. Additionally, we offer benefits including: Guaranteed Hours: Not specified, Floating within the facility is possible if needed, Use of Pyxis, EPIC, SBAR systems, Orientation includes 13 non-billable hours, Required to submit core items and complete/schedule labs within 48 hours of signing the contract to ensure an on-time start.
