Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Patient Account Representative to join our team at Granger Medical Clinic. As a Patient Account Representative, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to patients, answering their billing questions, and resolving any issues related to their medical bills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Answer patient calls and respond to their billing inquiries in a professional and courteous manner.
- Communicate with patients, physicians, and clinic staff regarding their billing questions and concerns.
- Follow up with denial reps and medical coders to have claims reviewed and rebilled.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements:
- High School Graduate or G.E.D. equivalent.
- 1-2 years of Medical Receptionist or Patient Account Representative experience preferred.
- 1-year Billing or Coding experience preferred.
- Recent medical customer service experience.
- Ability to speak Spanish is helpful but not required.
