Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced maintenance and grounds person to join our dedicated team at the Comfort Inn Caldwell.

This role is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of our property, and adhering to all Choice Hotel brand standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, plumbing repairs, HVAC system maintenance, and general building repairs
  • Conduct regular inspections of equipment and facilities to identify any issues or potential problems
  • Respond promptly to maintenance requests from guests and staff
  • Maintain the upkeep of the grounds, including picking up trash, pulling weeds, and cleaning around the dumpster area
  • Manage inventory and supplies needed for maintenance tasks
  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and protocols, as well as brand standards
  • Provide exceptional customer service to hotel guests, staff, and management
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Preferred experience in facilities or hotel roles
  • Ability to complete maintenance requests in a timely manner
  • Basic electrical experience preferred
  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively
  • Strong leadership abilities with capability to supervise others
