We are seeking a highly skilled Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist to join our team at Medicorp, Inc. as a full-time Assistant or Associate Professor. This is an excellent opportunity for new graduates and Visa candidates to apply.
The successful candidate will work in both community-based and university settings, providing direct clinical care to children and adolescents. This will include face-to-face interactions and telepsychiatry services. The candidate will also work with community health centers, pediatric practices, and juvenile justice teams.
We are proud to announce that Health and Healthcare has plans to build a state-of-the-art, 144-bed behavioral health facility that will open in the spring of 2025. The new facility will include 24 inpatient beds dedicated to the mental health needs of children and adolescents.
Key Highlights of the Position- Employment by Medicorp, Inc. under the Academic Employment Model
- Hospital privileges at Health Medical Center, a 974-academic medical center
- Opportunity to work with a growing 9-hospital physician-led healthcare system
- Established division offering a blend of clinical care, teaching, and scholarly activities
- Assist in the teaching and clinical supervision of medical students, residents, and other health professional trainees
- Collaboration with other faculty members in conducting clinical research, with the opportunity to initiate projects if desired
- Function as a university faculty member, performing duties appropriate to academic rank and position
