Speech Language Pathologist

We are seeking a skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team at Positive Development for Youth & Families. As a key member of our therapeutic team, you will work collaboratively with Occupational Therapists and Mental Health Clinicians to provide a comprehensive and trans-disciplinary approach to children and their families.
Daily Responsibilities:- Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to determine each child's current needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Collaborate with the clinical team to create and implement treatment plans, including identifying specific speech and language-related goals.
- Provide direct speech and language services to autistic children, utilizing a developmental approach to work towards each child's goals and strengthen developmental foundations.
- Monitor each child's progress, record session notes, and communicate progress to other members of the team, including parents.
- Participate in team meetings and ongoing supervision, and provide ongoing mentoring and support to new team members.
- Speech-Language Pathology license in the State of New Jersey.
- Strong desire to learn the Developmental Model through training, observation, and reflection.
- Strong communication skills, both written and oral.
- Passion for working with children on the autism spectrum.
- Ability to work seamlessly and respectfully on a trans-disciplinary team.
- Master's in Speech Language Pathology.
- Active state SLP license.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP).
- ASHA certification.
