Job Summary
We are looking for a compassionate and detail-oriented RN to provide top-notch patient care in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work effectively as part of a team, and maintain a high level of professionalism at all times.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, assessing their physical and emotional needs, and developing individualized plans to meet those needs.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and efficient hospital operations.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, documenting treatment plans, progress notes, and test results.
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physicians, monitoring patients' responses and reporting any adverse reactions.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, identifying areas for improvement and contributing to the development of evidence-based practices.
Requirements
- Degree in Nursing from an accredited program
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of employment
- One to three years of experience as a Registered Nurse, preferably in a Progressive Care Unit setting
- Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds, and stand for long periods
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
