Food Service Assistant Job Description

**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Food Service Assistant to join our team at Acts Retirement-Life Communities. As a Food Service Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional dining experiences for our residents.

**Key Responsibilities:**

* Prepare and serve meals to residents in a timely and efficient manner
* Assist with the setup and cleanup of the dining room
* Perform short-order cooking and various prep tasks in the kitchen
* Foster an environment of hospitality for residents under the direction of the Nutrition Services Manager

**Requirements:**

* Entry-level position with on-the-job training
* Minors (under the age of 18) must obtain a valid work permit, if required by the state in which they are being employed
