POSITION SUMMARY:

The IT Systems Engineer will utilize specialized technical skills to address and resolve complex issues.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Associate's degree in a technology-related field or equivalent experience in a multi-platform technical support setting is essential.
  • 1 to 3 years of experience in a technical support role, managing high-performance computer systems.
  • Experience in audio and video production is preferred.
  • Comprehensive understanding of operating systems, transaction processing systems, relational databases, networking, communication protocols, real-time systems, and IT industry standards.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Collaborate with management and IT departments to troubleshoot intricate business and system issues.
  • Install, upgrade, and maintain gaming hardware and software solutions.
  • Coordinate hardware installations and updates with vendors and users, following the IT Change Control Process.
  • Manage updates and modifications to production programs and databases.
  • Advise on application design improvements to optimize resource utilization.
  • Plan and implement new versions of operating systems and vendor patches as per the Product Support Agreement.
  • Provide first and second-level support for system issues.
  • Document and escalate problems for resolution.
  • Analyze and recommend tools for system operation and troubleshooting.
  • Report findings from technical research and system performance to management.
  • Collect and evaluate system data to ensure quality and performance standards.
  • Adjust system settings to enhance performance.
  • Administer systems to ensure compliance with audit and regulatory standards.
  • Assist in evaluating and supporting new technologies for improved productivity.
  • Engage with project teams, clients, and vendors for effective planning.
  • Contribute to engineering processes as per project management methodologies.
  • Suggest enhancements for system implementations.
  • Adhere to system management policies and procedures.
  • Enforce change control processes effectively.
  • Ensure compliance with enterprise standards during system implementations.
  • Maintain consistent support for existing systems and programs.
  • Adjust services and support as necessary.
  • Monitor infrastructure for any irregular operating conditions.
  • Enhance product knowledge through vendor interactions.
  • Utilize vendor resources to resolve issues efficiently.
  • Oversee the setup and maintenance of audio and video equipment.
  • Prepare and load media for scheduled productions.
  • Develop pre-production concepts into outlines and scripts.
  • Monitor video feeds to ensure quality and address potential issues.
