We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Surgical Technologist to join our team at Northwell Health's Outpatient Surgical Center. As a valued member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work alongside top surgeons and medical professionals, utilizing cutting-edge technology to deliver outstanding surgical outcomes.

• Assist surgeons and other medical professionals during surgical procedures in the outpatient surgical center.
• Prepare operating rooms by ensuring all necessary equipment and supplies are sterile and readily available.
• Position and drape patients appropriately for surgical procedures.
• Pass instruments and supplies to surgeons during procedures.
• Maintain a sterile field throughout surgical procedures to prevent infections.
• Anticipate the needs of the surgical team and proactively provide assistance.
• Assist with patient transport to and from the operating room.
• Participate in post-operative cleanup and sterilization of equipment and operating rooms.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Collaborate with other members of the healthcare team to ensure efficient and effective patient care.
• Document patient information and surgical procedures accurately and in a timely manner.
• Stay current on best practices and advancements in surgical technology and techniques.

• Must be a Certified Surgical Technician.
• At least 2 years of Orthopedic Experience Preferred.
• High School Diploma or equivalent, required.
• Knowledge of surgical instruments and specialized equipment, required.
• Successful completion from a nationally accredited educational program for surgical technologist, holds and maintains a certified surgical technologist (CST).
• Must be and remain in good standing with NYS regulations, required.
