Job Summary:

Arbor Lodging Management, a leading hotel investment and management company, is seeking a Corporate Controller to oversee the financial operations of multiple properties within its portfolio. This role will be based out of the company's corporate office in the West Loop of Chicago, with a flexible schedule that includes in-office work on Monday through Thursday.


Key Responsibilities:

The Corporate Controller will be responsible for developing and maintaining practices and procedures to ensure accurate and timely financial statements. This includes managing accounting activities such as Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, bank/balance sheet reconciliations, and financial report preparation. The successful candidate will also support hotel properties and provide financial information to other professional service providers, tax accountants, and external auditors.


Requirements:

To be successful in this role, the candidate will need a Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in hotel finance or real estate. Experience with M3 and hotel PMS systems is a plus. The ideal candidate will have superior communication skills, the ability to prioritize and focus in a high-paced environment, and a strong understanding of accounting and financial principles.
