Job Summary

Timmons Group is seeking a highly skilled Civil Project Engineer II - Structure & Bridge Design to join our team in Raleigh, NC.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine and complex design of steel piles and steel connections, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Design and develop cast-in-place concrete slabs, taking into account structural integrity and durability.
  • Develop a strong understanding of general renewable energy concepts and terminology.
  • Assist in the development of project scope, schedules, and budgets, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.
  • Manage projects and tasks, coordinating with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals.
  • Contribute to marketing and proposal development efforts, highlighting the company's expertise and capabilities.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering, with a Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in structure and/or bridge design, with a strong portfolio of projects.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) License is a plus, demonstrating expertise and commitment to the field.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with colleagues and clients.
  • Proficiency in structural design software packages, including LPile, Mathcad, and Excel.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD for plan development, with experience in Excel/AutoCAD interoperability to create pile plot plans.
