At the Good Samaritan Society, we are committed to providing high-quality care and services to our residents. We are seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team in our long-term care facility in Westbrook, MN.

Job Summary:

The CNA will provide resident-centered care and daily living assistance to assigned residents under the supervision of a registered nurse (RN). The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to providing excellent care and a positive experience for our residents.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide resident-centered care and daily living assistance to assigned residents
  • Assist residents with bathing, toileting, grooming, dressing/undressing, and other personal care needs
  • Obtain and record vital signs, and provide psychosocial support to assigned residents
  • Assist with meal preparation and dining, while creating a positive dining experience for residents
  • Document resident interactions and outcomes related to resident care, behavior, activity, and dietary
Requirements:
  • High school graduate or general equivalency diploma (GED) preferred
  • Minimum age of 16
  • Required Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification with the State Board of Nursing, or state certified CNA within four months of date into the position
