Job Overview

Timmons Group is in search of a Civil Project Engineer II - Structure & Bridge Design to join our dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities for the ideal candidate encompass, but are not limited to:

  • Conducting both routine and advanced design tasks for steel piles and connections.
  • Executing design processes for cast-in-place concrete slabs.
  • Demonstrating a solid understanding of renewable energy terminology.
  • Contributing to the formulation of project scope, timelines, and budgets.
  • Assisting in the oversight of projects and associated tasks.
  • Supporting marketing initiatives and proposal preparations.

Qualifications sought in a successful candidate include:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering is mandatory; a Master's degree is preferred.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in structure and/or bridge design is essential.
  • A Professional Engineer (PE) License is advantageous.
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Proficiency in structural design software, particularly LPile, Mathcad, and Excel.
  • Experience with AutoCAD for plan development.
  • Ability to utilize Excel and AutoCAD together for creating pile plot plans.
