Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our Surgical Services team as part of our RN Residency Program. This program is designed to provide novice nurses with the necessary knowledge, skills, and competencies to excel in their role and advance their careers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide professional nursing care to patients in accordance with physician orders and established guidelines.
  • Independently plan and implement patient care plans, utilizing evidence-based practice and clinical knowledge.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care and optimal outcomes.
  • Participate in ongoing education and professional development to enhance skills and stay current with industry advancements.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing and licensed as an RN in the State of Georgia in good standing.
  • Less than one year of experience as a registered professional nurse.
  • Certified in American Heart Association's Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS).
  • Other required cardiopulmonary resuscitation certifications (ACLS).
Preferred Qualifications
  • BSN degree.
  • Unit-specific RN attributes, as outlined in the specific clinical unit.
