- Identifies both current and future maintenance needs.
- Meets financial goals by preparing and managing an annual maintenance budget, monitoring expenses, analyzing discrepancies, and implementing corrective measures.
- Enhances operational efficiency by prioritizing work and scheduling repairs, maintenance, and installations of equipment.
- Develops, implements, and adjusts preventive maintenance strategies based on production and maintenance data, as well as equipment inspections.
- Adheres to all OSHA standards.
- Ensures compliance with mechanical, electrical, and other applicable municipal and state regulations.
- Addresses and resolves maintenance challenges.
- Maintains a safe and orderly work environment for employees and visitors.
- Meets operational requirements by scheduling and assigning tasks to team members, ensuring quality outcomes.
- Guarantees that handling equipment is maintained in a clean, safe, and fully operational state.
- Evaluates future repair needs and coordinates necessary repairs.
- Leads departmental initiatives to innovate new products, refine existing designs, enhance production methods, and develop testing protocols.
- Creates a comprehensive energy management plan, detailing energy consumption, defined objectives, strategies, and conservation initiatives.
- Stays informed about new technologies that could enhance operations and provides recommendations accordingly.
- Maintains knowledge of safety regulations to ensure compliance and safe practices for oneself and others.
- Ensures adherence to all federal, state, and local environmental, health, and safety regulations, conducting all tasks in a manner that protects the environment.
- Performs additional duties as required.
- Understanding of preventive maintenance practices, Total Productive Maintenance, and Reliability Centered Maintenance.

- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Outlook, Word, Excel).
- Ability to work in controlled temperature environments as well as varying outdoor conditions.
- Capability to work at heights exceeding 35 feet and access elevated platforms.
- Must be able to climb ladders and stairs.
- Frequent standing, walking, pushing, pulling, reaching, stooping, kneeling, and crouching required.
- Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds regularly.
- Proficient in using hand and power tools.
- Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, and depth perception, with or without corrective lenses.
