Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care to acutely ill patients, including assessment, planning, and evaluation of care.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
- Contribute to a positive and supportive work environment by promoting a culture of respect, empathy, and open communication.
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program and current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Maryland.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and ability to obtain Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification within six months of hire.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 25 pounds, and stand for long periods of time.
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including days, evenings, and nights.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field.
- At least one year of experience in an acute care setting.
- Certification in a relevant specialty, such as Critical Care or Emergency Nursing.
