Residential Advocate

Estimated Salary: $50,000 - $70,000 per year

The Residential Advocate will provide residential support and advocacy services to survivors of domestic violence at the YWCA Greater Lafayette.

The Residential Advocate will be responsible for:

• Providing residential support and advocacy services to survivors of domestic violence
• Facilitating cleaning and light maintenance of household with resident assistance
• Advocating for residents and non-residents with legal, social service, education, and medical organizations as needed
• Maintaining client and program confidentiality
• Maintaining all necessary documentation and records

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• A high school diploma and related experience
• The ability and willingness to work weekend, overnight, and holiday shifts
• The ability to multi-task and adjust priorities as needed
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Familiarity with common computer software such as Word, Outlook, and Excel
