At Advocate Aurora Health, we are seeking a skilled Surgical Technologist to join our team in Okauchee, Wisconsin.

Job Description:

The Surgical Technologist will assist with surgical cases in all specialty areas, utilizing aseptic surgical techniques to prepare materials, supplies, and equipment for procedures. This includes gowning and gloving, preparing and draping the surgical area, and maintaining a sterile field.

The successful candidate will also be responsible for setting up the operating room for each case, including moving equipment and operating various types of machinery. Additionally, they will transport patients and equipment, and notify staff of any issues with equipment or supplies.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be considered for this role, you must have completed the first and second cohort of a Surgical Technology program. You should also have knowledge of aseptic surgical techniques, various types of equipment used in the operating room, and excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
