Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to join our team at our new manufacturing facility in Virginia. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining facility equipment and machinery to ensure optimal production levels.

Key Responsibilities

  • Equipment Maintenance
    • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on industrial equipment and machinery to prevent downtime and ensure efficient operation.
    • Conduct daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly preventative maintenance on plant equipment and machinery as required.
  • Troubleshooting and Repair
    • Identify and troubleshoot equipment problems, and make repairs as needed.
    • Use precision instruments, such as meters and oscilloscopes, to diagnose and repair equipment issues.
  • Support to Production
    • Ensure the safe and proper operation, maintenance, and repair of plant equipment to support production goals.
    • Generate, complete, and close work orders using a computerized maintenance management system.
  • Training and Development
    • Mentor and train existing and new maintenance employees to ensure knowledge transfer and skill development.
  • Compliance and Safety
    • Follow all Company safety rules and regulations, including LOTO and wearing required PPE.
    • Maintain good housekeeping and follow established safety procedures.

Requirements

  • Education and Experience
    • Minimum High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
    • Certification or equivalent experience in mechanical field.
    • 4 years prior maintenance experience.
  • Skills and Knowledge
    • Knowledge of current OSHA, NEC, and ANSI standards.
    • Working knowledge of variable frequency drives.
    • Computer literacy, including proficiency with Microsoft Office Products.
  • Physical Demands
    • Able to lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted.
    • Able to work in a fast-paced environment with accuracy and integrity.
