Position Overview
Summary: The Long Term Care Nursing Assistant is responsible for delivering compassionate support to residents in accordance with the facility's established protocols. This role requires a thorough understanding of effective resident care methodologies.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Collaborate with residents to sustain, enhance, and elevate their overall quality of care and life experience.

2. Execute, document, and report on resident care tasks as designated, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

3. Engage in ongoing training and development through facility-sponsored in-service programs.

4. Adhere to stringent infection control practices in all aspects of resident support.

5. Notify the supervising nurse of any notable changes in resident conditions.

6. Respond promptly to resident inquiries and requests, including those made via call lights.

7. Uphold residents' rights, ensuring their privacy and dignity are respected during care delivery.

8. Foster effective communication with residents, their families, fellow staff members, and management.

9. Assist residents with social activities and dining experiences in a timely manner as per care plans.

10. Perform additional duties as required to meet residents' needs.

Qualifications: Candidates must have successfully completed an accredited training program and passed the necessary competency assessments for Certified Nurse Assistants.

Physical Demands: This position necessitates maintaining good physical and mental health. Responsibilities may involve lifting weights up to fifty pounds and assisting residents who require partial or full support.
