About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at Good Samaritan Society. As an LPN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care to residents in our long-term care facility.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide nursing care for residents, ensuring their health, comfort, and safety
  • Administer medications and treatments as ordered by a registered nurse or physician
  • Contribute to resident assessments and develop individualized care plans
  • Work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary care team to provide comprehensive care
  • Maintain accurate and confidential records of resident interactions and outcomes

Requirements:

  • Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program with a valid LPN license
  • Associate degree in practical nursing preferred
  • At least 400 hours of experience as an LPN or completion of a pre-licensure nursing program with supervised clinical experience
