About the Role


We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Fixed Equipment Engineer to join our team at Stealth Recruiting Services.

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a leading company in the High-Performance Specialty Chemical Field, driving mechanical asset availability and improving overall reliability and maintainability.

The successful candidate will have a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering, minimum 10 years post-grad experience, and prior experience in the chemical, plastics, or refining industry.

A strong understanding of Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint software programs is essential, along with excellent communication skills, self-motivation, and time management abilities.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Demonstrating leadership in driving a zero-incident safety culture
  • Implementing established maintenance and reliability strategies
  • Identifying needed maintenance technician training and procedure development
  • Responding to equipment failures and ensuring daily production goals are achieved
  • Performing routine mechanical equipment troubleshooting, repair vs. replacement analysis, and root cause failure analysis
  • Coordinating proactive fixes from condition monitoring findings with operations and maintenance personnel

Responsibilities Overview


This position requires strong technical knowledge of rotating and fixed equipment, as well as experience with modeling tools such as Fathom, Compress, Aspen, or Solidworks.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of industry best practices, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Requirements
