Heritage Hotels & Resorts is seeking a skilled Banquet Captain to join our team at El Monte Sagrado Hotel & Spa in Taos, NM. As a Banquet Captain, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of banquet services, providing exceptional guest experiences, and supporting the Front of House team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the Kitchen Leadership in maintaining a culture of service and ensuring banquet operations run smoothly.
  • Expedite customer orders, maintain proper flow of service, and FOH staffing levels during shifts.
  • Develop and maintain good working relationships with suppliers to decrease operational costs.
  • Uphold company food safety, food handling, cleanliness, and sanitation requirements.
Requirements:
  • Excellent verbal communication and multitasking skills.
  • High school diploma or equivalent experience/training, with a post-high school degree in Hospitality preferred.
  • 2 years of food & beverage supervision/lead experience, with luxury branded hospitality experience preferred.
  • Valid New Mexico Food Handler Certification and Alcohol Server Certification.
  • Ability to work on your feet for eight hours or more and lift/push/reach for/carry 30+ pounds frequently.
