Job Summary

We're seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Janitorial Assistant to join our team. As a Janitorial Assistant, you'll play a critical role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our office space, restrooms, break and lunchroom areas, and surrounding facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review and prepare for duties at the start of each shift, ensuring all necessary equipment and supplies are available.
  • Clean and vacuum floors in office and conference spaces.
  • Maintain cleanliness of restrooms, break areas, and lunchrooms, including mopping tile floors and washing surfaces.
  • Remove trash, operate compactor and bailer, and clean up spills in the store.
  • Dust and wash surfaces, mirrors, glass, and equipment.
  • Resupply items as needed and use floor cones to designate potentially hazardous floor conditions.
Requirements
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Must be able to communicate and understand company policies and safety regulations.
  • Must meet ergonomic and physical requirements for the position.
  • Must be able to use or learn to use equipment and tools used for the job.
  • Must complete the company introductory period.
  • Must read, write, and communicate in English as it relates to the job and safety regulations.
Physical Requirements
  • Shift hours: minimum 4-hour shifts or more depending on business needs.
  • Job cycles: continual maximum.
  • Lift/carry: 50 lbs.
  • Stand 55%, sit 0%, walk 45%.
