Sound Physicians, a leading hospital medicine practice, is seeking physicians to join our team at Saint Alphonsus Medical Center in Nampa, Idaho. As a medical director for our hospital medicine team, you will have the opportunity to lead a diverse group of clinicians and contribute to the development of our practice.
About Our TeamWe take pride in our closely connected team, which includes eight physicians and two advanced practice providers (APPs). Our team members come from various backgrounds, and we believe in mutual support and continuous learning to enhance patient care. Collaboration and teamwork are the cornerstones of our practice, and we work closely within our team and across different departments to ensure robust relationships and a supportive working environment.
Nampa offers an array of activities for recreation, including hiking, rafting, skiing, local breweries, diverse cuisine, and collegiate sports. The city boasts excellent schools and is a safe place to raise a family, providing a balance between urban conveniences and a wholesome lifestyle.
We are proud to support a diverse group of providers by sponsoring J1 visa candidates. Sound offers excellent in-house visa specialists, along with licensing and credentialing experts. All required filing fees for visas are covered by Sound.
About the JobWe are seeking physicians with training in internal or family medicine, preferably with skills in arterial lines, central lines, and intubations. Vent management is required, and we provide mentoring for clinicians. We use the Cerner electronic medical record system and offer access to our internal informatics platform.
The competitive compensation package includes a $240,000 annual salary, with a $50,000 commencement bonus for full-time nocturnists who work 10-15 shifts per month, along with extra incentives based on quality and productivity. Benefits include comprehensive medical, dental, vision, life, and AD&D insurance, long- and short-term disability, a 401k plan with a match, paid medical malpractice and tail coverage, and an annual CME allowance.
We also offer a Path to Partnership program for employed physicians, where partnership eligibility is evaluated in your second year with Sound, with the potential to double productivity bonuses.
