Automotive Repair Specialist

Fields Chrysler Jeep Dodge is seeking a skilled Diesel Technician to join our team. As a Diesel Technician, you will be responsible for inspecting and repairing vehicles with diesel engines, handling routine repairs, and interpreting diagnostic test results.
Key Responsibilities- Inspect and repair vehicles with diesel engines
- Perform routine repairs, including oil and tire changes
- Interpret diagnostic test results accurately
- Write detailed inspection reports and repair plans
- Generate estimates for needed repairs
- Complete test drives to ensure vehicles run correctly
- Use power, machine, and hand tools safely
- Follow all motor vehicle repair shop regulations and standards
- 5+ years of Diesel Technician experience required
- A level qualification, including Diagnostic, Electrical, and Engine Repair
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Excellent customer service skills
- Basic computer skills
- Positive, friendly attitude, and customer service mentality
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Team player
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable motor vehicle driving record
- Ability to learn new technology, repair, and service procedures and specifications
- Ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment
