Telehealth Nurse

We are seeking a skilled Telehealth Nurse to join our team at Travel Nurse Across America. As a Telehealth Nurse, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care through the use of advanced monitoring equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide basic bedside care to patients, ensuring their comfort and well-being.
• Monitor and adjust specialized equipment used on patients, interpreting and recording electronic displays to inform patient care decisions.
• Identify irregular telemetry readings and notify the medical team to ensure prompt intervention.
• Initiate corrective action when monitoring equipment indicates adverse symptomatology, prioritizing patient safety.

Requirements:

• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• NIH (National Institutes of Health) certification
• 2 years of recent acute care experience

Physical Demands:

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, with occasional bending, leaning, and stooping
• Capacity to lift up to 20 pounds, with occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds
• Specific vision requirements, including close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
