We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Critical Care Registered Nurse to join our team in the Critical Care Float Pool at our Level II Trauma Center. As a Critical Care Nurse, you will play a pivotal role in providing cutting-edge care for critically ill patients, working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities- Gain experience in a Level II Trauma Center and Level I Comprehensive Stroke Center, where every day presents new challenges and learning experiences.
- Play a key role in managing the highest acuity cases in the region, treating patients with a wide range of complex needs, from neuro and cardiac care to surgical and trauma.
- Enjoy the flexibility and excitement of floating between multiple high-acuity units, including the ICU, CICU, CVICU, Neuro Surgical Trauma ICU, and the Emergency Department.
- Work independently and autonomously, relying on your critical thinking skills and clinical expertise to make split-second decisions in high-stakes situations.
- Current Idaho or multistate RN license
- Basic Life Support certification
- Ability to obtain Advance Cardiovascular Life Support for HealthCare Provider (ACLS) certification within 6 months of hire and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) NRP, and TNCC certifications within 12 months of hire
- Prior critical care experience in an acute care setting with a high acuity critical patient population
