Job Title: Private Duty Nurse RN
Aveanna Healthcare is a leading national provider of home health services to medically fragile children and adults. We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Private Duty Nurse RN to join our team.
About the Role:
- Provide one-on-one care to patients in their homes, ranging from 8 to 16-hour shifts.
- Assist patients with transitioning home from the hospital and provide continuous care to remain at home with their loved ones.
- Implement physicians' prescribed plans of care, conduct patient assessments, and coordinate care with healthcare teams.
- Administer prescribed medication, treatments, and therapies, and document care provided in our system of record.
- Teach and train family members on health promotion and disease management.

Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered RN license in the state of practice.
- Current CPR certification from American Red Cross, American Heart Association, or BLS.
- TB skin test (current within last 12 months).
- Six months prior hands-on nursing experience preferred but not required.
