Part-Time Instructor

The University of California, Irvine is seeking qualified candidates for part-time lecturer positions in the areas of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science. We are particularly looking for lecturers from the industrial research community who can bring real-world experience and expertise to the classroom.
As a part-time lecturer, you will have the opportunity to teach in the Professional Master of Embedded & Cyber-Physical Systems Program (MECPS) and share your knowledge with students. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, as well as experience in industrial research and development.
Responsibilities
Teach courses in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, including embedded systems, cyber-physical systems, and the Internet of Things. Develop and deliver engaging and effective lectures, as well as assess student learning. Collaborate with faculty and staff to develop curriculum and improve teaching methods.
Qualifications
A graduate degree (Ph.D. or M.S.) in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience in industrial research and development, as well as teaching experience, is highly desirable.
