We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Pilates Instructor to join our team at Apex Park and Recreation District.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in mat-based Pilates, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to foster a positive and supportive atmosphere for participants.

• Conduct Pilates classes emphasizing core strength and flexibility.
• Develop well-structured Pilates routines for various fitness levels.
• Provide clear instructions, ensuring participants maintain proper form.
• Offer modifications and adjustments to accommodate individual needs.
• Foster a positive and supportive atmosphere for participants.
• Stay informed about the latest trends and developments in Pilates and fitness.
• Assist in marketing and promoting Pilates classes.

• Certification as a Pilates Instructor with expertise in mat-based Pilates.
• Previous experience teaching mat Pilates classes is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Pilates principles.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• CPR and first aid certification within the first 90 days.

• Regularly required to lead/instruct fitness classes assigned by the supervisor.
• Must occasionally lift and move up to 25 pounds.
• Hearing and visual acuity sufficient to perform the job's essential functions.

This part-time position offers a competitive salary range of $38.00 - $50.00 hourly, depending on experience and qualifications.
