Position Overview

Provider Solutions & Development is looking for a dedicated Gastroenterology Specialist to join our esteemed team. In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Engaging with patients to assess their gastrointestinal health concerns.
  • Conducting specialized diagnostic tests to identify medical conditions.
  • Formulating appropriate treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
  • Collaborating with primary care physicians to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Reviewing patient medical histories and data for informed decision-making.
  • Consulting with other medical experts, including oncologists, when necessary.
  • Executing endoscopic procedures for internal organ examination.
  • Utilizing imaging techniques such as X-Ray, MRI, and ultrasound for diagnostics.
  • Performing surgical interventions within the digestive system.
  • Providing call coverage approximately two days each month.

Qualifications

  • MD (Medical Degree) in Medicine
  • Active medical license in the relevant state
  • Completion of an ACGME-accredited fellowship in Gastroenterology
  • Completion of an ACGME-accredited residency in Internal Medicine
  • Compensation range: $100.00 to $200.00 per hour
