Who are we looking for?

We seek a Senior Civil Engineer to join our civil engineering team in the Northeastern region of the US. In this role, you will work alongside multidisciplinary teams on the planning, design, and execution of engineering projects focused on site development for a wide range of municipal and private clients.

As a member of a dynamic and high-performing team, this role encompasses a variety of responsibilities, including:
  • Contributing to the development of site plans, technical reports, design drawings, contract documents, cost estimates, and permit applications for projects
  • Creating land development plans and participating in municipal meetings
  • Executing site grading, building layouts, access road design, and stormwater management designs for various sites
  • Understanding local, county, and state regulations as well as permit requirements
  • Providing mentorship and developmental insights to junior staff members
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in Civil Engineering or Environmental Engineering
  • Preferably possessing a current Professional Engineer (PE) license, though not mandatory
  • 4-8 years of project experience in land development, with experience across multiple states being advantageous
  • Familiarity with engineering modeling software such as HydroCAD, SewerGEMS, HEC-RAS
  • Proficiency in engineering drafting software like Autodesk (Civil 3D) and the ability to collaborate effectively with CAD professionals
  • Experience in presenting at zoning hearings and other public meetings
