Job Summary:

Christus St. Vincent is seeking a highly skilled Cardiac Sonographer to join our team as a Travel Ultrasound Technologist. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for performing echocardiograms and other ultrasound procedures to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular diseases.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform echocardiograms and other ultrasound procedures to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular diseases.
  • Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety.
  • Develop and implement patient care plans, taking into account individual needs and medical histories.
  • Collaborate with cardiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and departmental efficiency.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Cardiac Sonographer or Echo Tech.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; two-year allied health education program preferred.
  • Current NM State License and ARDMS/CCI registration required.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.

Work Schedule:

  • Days, Friday - Monday.
  • 40-hour guarantee per week.

Additional Requirements:

  • COVID vaccination proof required; or medical or religious declination reviewed/approved before starting.
