Ultrasound Assistant

Saint Luke's Health System seeks an Ultrasound Assistant to provide support with ultrasound exams in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will work under the supervision of Ultrasound Technologists, assisting with throughput and contributing to maintaining the system's vision of providing exceptional patient care.

A background in a clinic setting is preferred but not required. The ideal candidate will be patient-centered, self-driven, and motivated, with strong customer service skills and the ability to work in a team atmosphere as well as autonomously.

• Assist in performing a variety of ultrasound exams, including abdominal, OB/GYN, vascular, vein mapping, and pediatric exams
• Assist in performing ultrasound-guided procedures such as paracentesis, thoracentesis, FNA, and biopsies
• Provide exceptional patient care and interact with patients and their loved ones in a compassionate and professional manner
• Work collaboratively with the ultrasound team to ensure efficient throughput and high-quality patient care

• Less than 1 year of applicable experience
• Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association or Red Cross
