Job Title: Production Assembler I

At ASSA ABLOY, we are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Production Assembler I to join our team. As a key member of our production department, you will be responsible for supporting daily production activities and workflows.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform sub-assembly works and programming of reader assemblies
  • Conduct basic testing of reader assemblies and printed circuit board assemblies
  • De-assembly and assembly of readers
  • Perform final reader mechanical assembly before shipments
  • Perform mechanical assembly and soldering rework of SMT or Through-Hole
  • Support in packaging and shipping
  • Assist other staff members as needed
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Minimum 1 year of related work experience
  • Ability to read and comprehend work orders
  • Ability to perform basic soldering of electrical components
  • Ability to use pneumatic tooling
  • Ability to work well under pressure and multitask to meet deadlines
  • Good interpersonal skills, willingness to learn and continue to grow professionally
  • Ability to read, speak, write, and comprehend English language
  • Good and strong team player and gets along well with others
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 35 lbs
  • Computer skills to include Word, Excel, and Window 10 will be a plus
  • Familiarize with ISO9000:2015 environment
