Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our team at Priefert Manufacturing Company Inc. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing mechanical systems and devices that meet our high-quality standards.

Responsibilities
  • Design and develop programs and hardware for production and manufacturing processes.
  • Develop and implement robots that perform manufacturing tasks.
  • Lead the design, implementation, and commissioning of automated assembly machines and production lines.
  • Ensure that programs and mechanical devices are properly installed and used.
  • Run improvements works on existing devices to enhance production efficiency.
  • Supervise the functioning of machines and ensure that final products meet quality standards.
  • Interfere and solve problems in a timely manner in case of malfunctions.
  • Create tests and verification methods to ensure system and mechanism functionality.
  • Run tests and gather information to make improvements on systems and devices.
Requirements
  • Providing detailed documentation, instructions, drawings, or specifications to inform others about device fabrication, construction, assembly, modification, maintenance, or use.
  • Analyzing information and evaluating results to choose the best solution and solve problems.
  • Using computers and computer systems to program, write software, set up functions, enter data, or process information.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Observing, receiving, and obtaining information from relevant sources.
  • Identifying underlying principles, reasons, or facts of information by breaking it down into separate parts.
  • Providing information to supervisors, co-workers, and subordinates by various means.
  • Staying up-to-date technically and applying new knowledge to your job.
  • Compiling, coding, categorizing, calculating, tabulating, auditing, or verifying information or data.
  • Using relevant information and individual judgment to determine compliance with laws, regulations, or standards.
  • Developing, designing, or creating new applications, ideas, relationships, systems, or products.
  • High school diploma required.
  • BS in Mechanical Engineering is required.
  • Regular predictable attendance.
