Job Overview

Summary:
The Project Financial Coordinator is tasked with ensuring precise tracking of hours worked by all personnel on project sites. Key responsibilities encompass the completion of time records, data entry, reconciliation, labor distribution, wage calculations, and payroll preparation. Additionally, this role involves maintaining project payroll documentation and executing payroll closures as necessary.

A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in timekeeping, proficiency in computer systems, and a solid understanding of benefit plans, IRS regulations, and EEO policies are required, along with a high school diploma or equivalent.


Key Responsibilities

  • Accurately calculates total hours worked by employees
  • Inputs payroll data into computer systems
  • Distributes paychecks to employees
  • May conduct interviews with employees regarding hours worked and pay modifications.
  • Maintains basic records and adheres to detailed procedures
  • Ensures compliance with all safety and project regulations. Performs additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

JOB REQUIREMENTS - Proficiency in SAP, timekeeping, billing, and requisition processes is essential. Must work within defined accuracy standards. - Capable of operating business machinery, computers, and menu-driven applications. - Ability to plan daily tasks effectively - Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills are necessary. - Decision-making should be based on measurable criteria.

QUALIFICATIONS: A high school diploma or equivalent may be required, along with relevant experience in the field or a related area.

Familiarity with commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures in the industry is expected. Relies on established guidelines to perform job functions. Works under direct supervision. Primary job functions typically do not require independent judgment. Reports to a supervisor or manager.
