About the Role

Mertz Manufacturing, a leading manufacturer of custom steel fabricated products, is seeking a highly skilled Senior Maintenance Technician to join our team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on industrial finishing systems, including conveyor systems, sandblasting equipment, and burner controls.
  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical circuits, pneumatically actuated machinery, and other equipment.
  • Maintain and repair man lifts, augers, and other specialized equipment.
  • Perform weld shop repairs and maintain a high level of quality and safety standards.
Requirements
  • Technical or vocational training in a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in maintenance within an industrial environment.
  • Proven expertise in the maintenance and repair of conveyor and sandblasting systems.
  • Strong knowledge of burner control systems and electrical circuit troubleshooting.
  • Experience with air actuated systems, man lifts, and auger maintenance and repair.
  • Competency in welding and the ability to perform various types of weld shop repairs.
  • Familiarity with safety standards and regulations in an industrial setting.
  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and electrical schematics.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Drivers license and current, reliable transportation.
