Job Summary:

The University of Hawai'i seeks a highly qualified Mathematics Professor to join our faculty. As a key member of our academic team, you will be responsible for teaching mathematics graduate and undergraduate courses, directing graduate research, and establishing an international reputation for excellent research.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach mathematics courses to graduate and undergraduate students
  • Direct and mentor graduate research projects
  • Conduct and publish research in mathematics
  • Develop and implement curriculum for mathematics courses
  • Participate in department and university committees
  • Perform other tasks and duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Doctorate in mathematics from a recognized institution
  • Demonstrated scholarly achievement in mathematics
  • Demonstrated ability to teach a variety of undergraduate mathematics courses

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Postdoctoral experience in mathematics
