Key Responsibilities:- Develop and uphold automated testing protocols that ensure comprehensive functional, regression, and integration coverage for customer interactions.
- Create scalable UI automation tests across various Samsung product categories.
- Document and monitor issues identified during automation processes.
- Collaborate with product managers and developers to outline automation use cases.
- Analyze defects to determine the source and nature of failures.
- Design tools and scripts to validate client information across web and mobile platforms.
- Establish test frameworks and automation scripts for user journey assessments.
- Coordinate with teams across different time zones.
- Engage in hands-on coding, debugging, and enhancement of automation scripts using Javascript, Typescript, and NodeJS.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, with a minimum of 6 years of QA experience in client applications (Web, Progressive Web App, Mobile App). At least 3 years of robust automation experience on web platforms and 2 years on mobile applications. Proficient coding skills in Javascript, Typescript, and NodeJS are essential.
Experience in the eCommerce domain, particularly in the purchase journey, is preferred. Familiarity with automation using stub and mocked data from integrated systems, as well as hands-on experience with relational databases and SQL, is required.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, are crucial. Knowledge of Agile Testing Quadrants and building is advantageous.
Compensation and Benefits:The expected salary range for this position is between $148,000 and $170,000, determined by relevant skills and experience.
