Job Summary

Holt of California is seeking a skilled Yard Technician to join our team. As a key member of our rental operations, you will play a vital role in ensuring the efficient and safe operation of our equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist customers with rental returns and checkouts, providing exceptional service and ensuring a smooth experience.
  • Conduct thorough safety checks on equipment to ensure it is in good working condition.
  • Prepare equipment for rental by cleaning, checking fluids, and verifying safety features.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tire inflation, and minor repairs.
  • Red tag equipment requiring repairs and collaborate with rental coordinators and shop staff to schedule maintenance.
  • Ensure equipment is in rent-ready condition, including steam cleaning and proper placement.
  • Assist drivers with loading and unloading equipment, as needed.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; related experience and/or training preferred.
  • Valid Class C driver's license and clean DMV record required.
  • Ability to lift up to 100 pounds, stand for long periods, and work in various weather conditions.
