Corestaff serves as the official MSP resourcing partner for Porsche Cars North America, managing their nationwide contingent workforce program. This position is a Corestaff contract role with placement at Porsche Cars North America in Atlanta, GA.

Position Overview:

  • Conduct restoration work on engines, transmissions, bodywork, electrical systems, and suspension components in accordance with Porsche Classic restoration standards.
  • Execute maintenance services, including major and minor repairs, tire and wheel changes, and additional services aligned with Porsche standards.
  • Review work orders and collaborate with supervisors on project requirements.
  • Act as the primary contact for vehicle-owning customers, providing technical explanations of diagnoses and necessary repairs.
  • Utilize diagnostic tools to identify errors and malfunctions, compiling repair lists and performance charts.
  • Prepare cost estimates for repairs, including labor and parts.
  • Plan work procedures using technical manuals and ensure quality standards are met throughout the process.
  • Assess vehicles to determine the extent of damage or malfunctions.
  • Follow detailed checklists to ensure thorough examination of critical components such as belts, hoses, steering systems, and brake systems.
  • Collaborate closely with the Classic Team and PEC Workshop Team to meet Porsche Classic and Factory Restoration performance targets.
  • Perform cleaning and maintenance of parts, vehicles, and workspaces as needed.
  • Conduct test drives, address deficiencies, and perform final inspections of vehicles.
  • Guide and mentor junior technicians or those in training.
  • Maintain ongoing training to uphold Porsche Classic Standards.

Qualifications:

  • Preferred automotive technical degree.
  • Porsche Gold, Silver, or Bronze Master Technician Certification is advantageous.
  • Porsche Classic Technician Certification is a plus.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Porsche Technician, with a focus on Classic Porsche Restoration and Repair.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects effectively.
  • Fluency in English (oral and written).
  • Highly organized with a target-oriented mindset, capable of working independently.
  • Proven ability to meet challenging deadlines.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a passion for Porsche vehicles.
  • Knowledge of the Classic range of Porsche Vehicles and air-cooled engines.
  • Proficient in the use of Porsche special tools, service equipment, and PIWIS Diagnostic systems.
  • Computer proficiency and familiarity with CDK software is desirable.

Schedule/Shift:

  • Standard Monday-Friday on-site schedule.
  • Availability for weekends as required.
