Server Host

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Server/Host to join our team at Humblearea. As a Server/Host, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, ensuring a seamless dining experience, and maintaining a clean and organized environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Food Delivery: Rapidly and accurately deliver food orders from the kitchen to customers' tables.
• Communication: Act as the contact point between Front of the House and Back of the House staff, communicating food orders to chefs and ensuring priorities and special requests are met.
• Table Setting: Assist the wait staff with table setting by fetching and placing appropriate tableware, eating utensils, and napkins.
• Food Safety: Ensure food is served in accordance with safety standards, including proper temperature.
• Customer Service: Check in with customers, take additional orders, refill water, and remove dirty dishes and utensils.
• Guest Interaction: Answer guests' questions about ingredients and menu items, and inform restaurant staff about customers' feedback or requests.
• Special Requests: Ensure families with young children receive kids' menus and special silverware sets.

Requirements:

• Experience: Previous experience as a Food Expeditor, Cook, or similar entry-level role in a restaurant.
• Hygiene and Food Safety: Understanding of hygiene and food safety rules.
• Physical Ability: Physical ability and stamina to carry heavy trays and stand for long hours.
• Availability: Availability to work various shifts, including weekends.
• Multi-Tasking: Multi-tasking abilities.
• Communication: Good oral communication skills.
• Professionalism: Ability to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced work environment.
