Role Summary
This position is accountable for the strategic planning, execution, administration, and support of software solutions and technological systems that underpin our operations. The analyst will provide project management expertise to facilitate the planning, execution, and monitoring of both short-term and long-term initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee designated software applications, implementing corrective measures to mitigate system downtime.
- Monitor project milestones, deliverables, and budgets, delivering regular updates to management.
- Develop user documentation and conduct training sessions for staff on new software applications.
- Assist in the formulation of policies, procedures, and web content as necessary.
- Provide functional support to users facing challenges with applications, acting as a liaison for technical assistance.
- Serve as a subject matter expert for technology applications throughout their lifecycle, including development, testing, and production phases.
- Collaborate with business analysts to gather requirements for IT specifications related to programming and system needs.
- Troubleshoot and resolve system-related issues, coordinating with system administrators and vendors as needed.
- Extract and analyze data from various sources using multiple query languages and tools.
- Maintain a comprehensive understanding of available data within business systems and craft queries accordingly.
- Manage the requirements gathering, analysis, design, implementation, validation, and maintenance of reports focused on core business operations.
- Contribute to the development and ongoing reporting of performance metrics, keeping stakeholders informed of progress.
- Clean, translate, and validate large datasets in various formats.
- Generate insightful reports using diverse reporting tools and technologies.
- Select appropriate tools and technologies based on project requirements.
- Create dashboards and visual management tools to empower stakeholders in making informed decisions.
- Ensure timely delivery of business intelligence information to stakeholders by adhering to deadlines and responding promptly to requests.
- Collaborate on special projects as needed.
- Stay updated with the latest technological advancements through continuous training.
Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree is required.
- A minimum of five years of relevant experience is necessary.
Skills and Competencies
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
- Familiarity with Information Management Systems.
- Strong project management capabilities.
Working Environment
This role is primarily office-based, requiring the ability to perform all job functions with or without reasonable accommodations. Responsibilities include remaining stationary during shifts, lifting items up to 25 pounds, and utilizing technology devices for information retrieval and communication.
