Job Title: Field Service Technician

Join Alliance Laundry Systems as a Field Service Technician and take on the challenge of repairing commercial laundry equipment for our direct distribution team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for troubleshooting and performing mechanical/electrical repairs on various makes of commercial laundry equipment at various business environments.

Responsibilities:
  • Troubleshoot and repair commercial laundry equipment, including washers, dryers, ironers, and other equipment.
  • Install replacement parts as needed and accurately document all service activities, including time and materials.
  • Communicate effectively with customers regarding repair work to ensure satisfaction and maintain a positive and enthusiastic demeanor.
  • Collaborate with the service manager, parts department, and vendors to facilitate accurate work product and maintain a healthy business relationship with our customers.
  • Assist the install crews with equipment installations and deliveries and maintain tools, service equipment, and service vehicle.
Requirements:
  • High school degree or equivalent is required.
  • Minimum of 2+ years of mechanical repair experience; laundry equipment experience preferred, but not required.
  • Working knowledge of electrical testing tools and/or other diagnostic/programing tools.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills and ability to self-manage workload and multiple projects simultaneously.
