Position Overview:

As an integral part of our dynamic team, the Protein Sales Representative serves as the primary contact for our clients, providing exceptional service and fostering strong partnerships.

This role involves promoting and selling protein-based products to various segments within the food service industry.

Key Responsibilities:


Sales Representatives will enhance profitability by utilizing effective communication and providing tailored solutions to cultivate strong relationships with both existing and prospective clients.

Identify potential customers through various channels including industry publications, trade shows, and online resources.

Travel within the designated territory to engage with current and potential clients, soliciting orders and discussing product offerings.
Utilize samples and point-of-sale materials to effectively showcase product features.
Prepare and present customer proposals and pricing applications.
Once accounts are established, clearly communicate credit terms, delivery schedules, and ordering procedures.
Collaborate with internal sales teams to ensure account information and marketing materials are current.
Monitor inventory levels to prevent shortages or product substitutions.
Become adept at using company systems and tools for order entry, pricing, and solution offerings.
Build and maintain relationships with key purchasing contacts.
Quickly address and resolve customer inquiries and issues.
Learn from experienced colleagues to gain insights into products, processes, and systems.
Close sales by establishing rapport with potential clients, articulating product and service benefits, addressing concerns, and preparing agreements.
Drive growth within existing accounts by introducing new products and services.

Qualifications:
1-2 years of relevant experience in food sales, restaurant, or catering environments.
High energy and enthusiasm are essential.
Must reside within the assigned sales territory.
Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks.
Self-motivated and eager to learn on the job.
A collaborative team player committed to achieving results.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
A degree in a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
Experience in culinary or hospitality is a plus.
