About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Data Analyst to join our team at Foundation Direct LLC. As a Data Analyst, you will play a critical role in acquiring, analyzing, and visualizing data from multiple sources to provide insightful translations of large and complex data sets.

You will work closely with our Business Intelligence Manager and a team of data professionals to pull insights and visualize findings. Your ability to formulate hypotheses and use problem-solving techniques to propose solutions to complex problems will be essential in driving business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Interpret market data, identify insights, and analyze trends or patterns in complex data sets
  • Ability to problem solve and pull insights from data sets by querying databases using SQL
  • Working within data warehouse within a Cloud environment
  • Experience or willingness to adapt and learn programming languages such as Python to help solve business needs for data analysis
  • Visualize findings providing tangible, relatable reports, charts, graphics, etc.
  • Proactively perform data cleaning and documentation
  • Accurately and efficiently implement tasks from start to completion following specific guidelines and processes
  • Present findings and recommendations to executive client leadership and clients

Requirements:

  • BA/BS in computer science, mathematics, statistics, business, or related field, and/or solid computer programming skills with relevant work experience
  • 0-2 years' professional experience, preferably in related data field
  • Working knowledge of SQL to extract and manipulate data
  • Experience with data visualization tools (i.e., Tableau, Power BI, Looker)
  • Entry-level knowledge of Python or Go
  • Entry-level knowledge and experience with Git
  • Analytical mindset and attention to detail
  • Proficient in Google sheets and the Google suite of products
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
